Ridgeline Advisory - Professional services

Four questions, answered in the order they bite.

Advisory for owner-managed businesses between two and twenty million in turnover. Fixed scope, fixed fee, four stages.

Stage by stage

Each stage priced and signed off on its own

You can stop after any stage. Nothing here is sold as a retainer or a twelve-month commitment.

The four stages

Dealt in order, because they only work in order.

Each stage is scoped, priced and signed off on its own. You can stop after any of them and still hold something you can act on without us.

Stage 01

Stop here if you want to

Position

What are we actually selling, and to whom?

Two weeks. Interviews with your last ten customers and your last ten lost deals, read against what you currently say on the phone. Most of the value is in the losses.

You end up holdingA one-page position, and the three things it rules out

Stage 02

Stop here if you want to

Numbers

Which parts of this business make money?

Three weeks. Gross margin rebuilt per product, per channel and per customer size. Owner-managed businesses are usually carrying one line that funds two.

You end up holdingContribution by line, with the assumptions written down

Stage 03

Stop here if you want to

Capacity

What breaks first if this doubles?

Two weeks. People, cash and systems mapped against the plan. The answer is rarely the one people expect, and it is almost never the website.

You end up holdingA constraint list in the order the constraints will bite

Stage 04

Last stage

Sequence

What happens in which order, starting Monday?

One week. Everything above turned into a sequence somebody can be held to, including the things that have to be given up to make room for it.

You end up holdingA dated plan with owners, and what to stop doing

  • Scope

    Written before it starts

Every stage begins with a one-page scope naming the question, the evidence we will use and the decision it is meant to support.

    01

  • Access

    The person you met

The adviser in the first call is the adviser on the work. Nothing is passed to a delivery team you have not spoken to.

    02

  • Exit

A stopping point at every stage

Each stage ends with a document you own and a decision you can act on without us. Continuing is a choice, not a default.

Ridgeline Advisory

The first call is a conversation, not a pitch.

Forty-five minutes, no material to prepare. If the answer is that you do not need us, that is the answer you will get.

That is where the demonstration ends. Ridgeline Advisory is invented, so the buttons above lead here rather than anywhere. These two do work.

What you are looking at

Technique
Scroll-driven section choreography
Why here
Four services that are genuinely sequential deserve to be dealt rather than listed. One timeline declared on the container choreographs all four panels from offset ranges, so the set moves as one arrangement instead of four components each firing at their own trigger.
With animation off
The panels still stack and hand off, because that is sticky positioning doing it. What is lost is the dimming of the panel underneath, which was never carrying meaning.
  • view-timeline on the container
  • offset animation-range per panel
  • filter: brightness
  • individual scale
